Cookies
1. What a cookie is, on this board
A cookie is a small record a site can ask the browser to keep. Ticker Umber does not set an HTTP cookie for analytics or for advertising. Those tools are not installed.
2. The two keys that do exist
After you close the course notice, the browser may keep the key eduNoticeAck so the dialog does not open again. After you accept or decline the banner, the browser may keep the key cookieConsent. Both live in local storage on this device. They are not sent to an advertising network.
3. How to remove them
You can clear site data for tickerumber.com in the browser settings. Declining the banner stores the decline and hides the banner. It does not switch on a tracker, because there is no tracker to switch on. If the keys are blocked, the notice and the banner can appear again on a later visit. The pages themselves still load.
4. How long they last
The keys stay until you clear them or the browser drops site data. They are not given an expiry by this site. Questions can go to info@tickerumber.com, +1 (604) 555-0148, or 14 Umber Mews, Suite 300, Vancouver, BC V6B 2W9, Canada. Those last two details are synthetic examples.
